Daniel Friess, Principal, has over 25 years of combined experience in real estate and construction. In 1992, he became the youngest licensed contractor in California. Dan has facilitated office, retail, mixed use, multi-family, and hospitality developments. He is also an ardent real estate investor who has extensive experience with multifamily projects. Dan has completed over 25,000 units of renovation and has built over 1,000,000 sq ft of new buildings and tenant spaces.
Dan holds a bachelor’s degree in urban planning from the University of California at San Diego where he graduated with distinction and received the Research Scholar award. He holds a Master’s Degree in Construction Management and Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley and a Master of Real Estate Development degree from the University of Southern California. Dan is a licensed general contractor and real estate broker with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification. He is a lifelong resident of San Juan Capistrano and is active in the community with his wife and three daughters. Dan is a former member of the city’s Design Review Committee, and also a YMCA volunteer.
